

Barbara Jean Daniels, 92, of Sun City West, AZ went to be with our Lord on November 30, 2017 at Guardian Care Assisted Living in Peoria, AZ. She was born on May 17, 1925 in Franklin, PA to the late Ward and Mabel (Brown) Sibley. She was married on February 3, 1947 to Frank D. Riddle, and he passed away August 31, 1950. She then married Robert Y. Daniels on October 2, 1959, and he passed away November 17, 1996. She was a 1943 graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin, PA. After high school, she moved to Washington D.C. to work as a fingerprint analyst for the FBI. She later worked for Klivans Jewelry Store in Franklin and then as a switchboard operator for the Franklin Courthouse, where she met her second husband. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Franklin and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was an active volunteer at Franklin Hospital. In 1987 she moved with her family to Sun City West, AZ. She became a member of the First Baptist Church and sang in the choir there also. She enjoyed painting, bowling, playing bridge, golfing, water aerobics, and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her son, Robert K. Daniels and his wife Pam, of Youngtown, AZ, and her daughter, Leslie Ginter and her husband Bryan, of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley Kirkwood of TX, Carol Snyder of Stuart, FL, and her brothers Donald Sibley of Franklin, PA, and Gary Sibley of Ocala, FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren Brian Riddle, Becky Kristen, Cassandra Daniels, Chelsie Daniels, Rochelle Ginter, and Ashley Ginter, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, her sons, Douglas Riddle, Frank R. Riddle; her brother Ward Sibley and her sister June Smith. Visitation will be held at 10AM on Saturday, December 9, at Sunland Mortuary in Sun City, followed by funeral service in the Sunland Mortuary Lakeside Chapel at 11AM, with interment to follow in Sunland Memorial Park.
