She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on June 21, 1928, the fourth of six siblings.
Betty was a beautiful, fun, loving lady who enjoyed life to the fullest, and we were so fortunate to have had so many wonderful years with her by our side. A loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, she will be dearly missed and fondly remembered in all the ways she touched the hearts of those around her.
Betty is affectionately remembered by her children David McMullan (Barbara), Marjorie Rader, and Liz Dowd (Jim), seven granddaughters, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Marjorie Atkinson of Ontario, Canada.
Betty is predeceased by her husband Archie McMullan, son-in-law Scott Rader, parents Bertha & William Van der Graaf, sister Anne Bryden, and brothers Peter, Arthur and Frederick Van der Graaf.
