Beverley was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Her parents were Robert and Lucy Isrow. She was one of 6 children born to her parents; she had 4 brothers and one sister. In 1960, she married her first husband, Henry Upham. They had two children, Charles and Renae. Being from a large family, Beverley had many nieces and nephews and they all enjoyed getting together for all the holidays as well as many days of the year. Beverley remained close to her siblings throughout their lives. In 1975 Beverley, Henry and their children moved from Michigan to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Moving to the desert was no small venture, but there the family grew and adapted to the new culture of the west.
Beverley worked in the school district in nutrition and through the years she was promoted and became a Supervisor. In 1988, Beverley became a Grandmother, she eventually had 3 grandchildren. She was an important person in her grandchildren’s life and they love her very much. In 2001, Henry passed away. Beverley retired in 2004.
In 2007, Beverley married her second husband, Walter Drews. Although Beverley hadn’t been looking for a relationship or expecting to marry again, she and Walt had a loving relationship. They loved to laugh together, and supported each other through whatever life brought. In 2019 they moved to Peoria Arizona. There they moved into a senior community, and Beverley soon gathered a circle of friends. They met to play cards, play Mahjong, go to lunch and enjoy each other’s company. In 2020, Beverley became a Great-Grandmother. She currently has 3 great grandchildren with the addition of her newest great-grandchild born only 2 months ago. In 2023 Walter passed away and her friends became even more important to her. Beverley was a friendly, loving, caring individual who was good at meeting people and making good friends. Beverley is survived by a brother and a sister, many nieces and nephews, a son and daughter-in-law, 3 grandchildren, a grand daughter-in-law, a grand son-in-law and 3 great-grandchildren.
