Beverli Jean Humphrey was born on August 1, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri to Merrit “Bud” Purpus and Dorothea Purpus. She is survived by her husband Mark Humphrey. Her son Jason Isidore and his wife Barbara Hirsch-Isidore. Her daughter Mandy Isidore. Her grandchildren Jordan, Preston, Jack, Halle, London, Sophie, and great grandchild Marina.
Beverli was an openminded free spirit who loved inclusion and diversity. She attended Southwest High School in Kansas City. Kansas City always held a special place in her heart, and she called it home. She raised her two kids there and met her husband there. Beverli loved decorating magazines and had an impeccable sense of style. In her later years going to estate sales with her husband Mark or her daughter in law Barbara gave her joy. She loved tulips, music, Arendelle’s, lighthouses, pinning stuff to her boards on Pinterest, going on late night drives, and loved wearing big baggy men’s dress shirts.
Her family meant everything to her, and she loved spoiling her grandkids. She loved going to watch her grandson Jack play football on Friday nights and watch her granddaughter Halle cheerlead. She loved gatherings and dinners with the family and always had everything perfect for the presentation. She loved her husband of 25 years Mark. They were 2 peas in a pod and spent every waking minute together. Beverli was a great wife, mom, and nana and will be missed by many. Until we meet again we love you…
