Charles William Brim, 88, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on June 20, 2015. He was born in Creal Springs, IL to Charles D Brim and Daisy Brim. Charles honorably served in the United States Army during both World War II and the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Illinois where he earned his EdD in education. Charles taught at Lombard Jr High in Galesburg, IL and then went on to become the Director of Planning for the Board of Regents of Illinois. After retiring from education, Charles came to Arizona 31 years ago.
Charles is survived by his sons, Larry Brim and his wife, Deborah Shenfil and M. David Brim and his wife Marsha Brim; grandchildren, Matthew Brim, Daniel Brim and Amy Powell and her husband Richard Powell.
Services will be held at a later date in Illinois.
