Charles (Charlie) Frederick Marrujo passed away on July 17, 2017 peacefully at home in Sun City, Arizona. Charlie was born in Jerome, Arizona on 1943. He also lived in San Manuel, AZ and eventually settled down in Phoenix. He worked as a computer operator with the State of Arizona, City of Phoenix and Maricopa County. After his government service, he worked in the plumbing trade with his nephew Joe until retirement.
Charlie loved the great outdoors enjoying his time camping, fishing, hunting and hiking. He was a great conversationalist who loved to talk about politics, sports, local/national issues and giving advice to the younger generation of family members. He also enjoyed spending much of his time with family and friends.
He is survived by his long time partner Grace Okamoto, his brother and wife, Ralph Sr. and Brenda, their three children Ralph Jr., Joe, and Theresa, and his numerous friends and relatives.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Marion Marrujo and his nephew Danny Marrujo.
Memorial services will be held at Sunland Mortuary on August 5, 2017 at 10:00 am. No burial will be conducted after the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.
