Charlotte was the only daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Travaglia Rosalia and resided in both Brooklyn and Rochester, New York during her early childhood years. She moved with her parents to Baltimore, Maryland where she graduated from St. Joseph Monastery Elementary School in 1945 and later the Institute of Notre Dame High School in 1949. Charlotte earned her Associate in Arts degree from Junior College of the University of Baltimore in 1951.
Charlotte met the love of her life, Henry, in 1947. They dated exclusively for 5 years and married on June 7, 1952. Charlotte was a devoted and loving mother to six children. Her sweet and loving demeanor was a gift to all who knew her.
Charlotte’s work life roles consisted of medical stenographer/transcriptionist at the University of Maryland, dental assistant and receptionist in Henry’s private dental practice in Ellicott City, Maryland and administrative assistant for West Virginia University School of Pharmacy CE Office in Morgantown, WV. Before retiring from her position at West Virginia University, Charlotte was the recipient of the first Employee of the Year award for her skills, commitment and spirit of teamwork. In 1995, Charlotte and Henry retired to Sun City West, Arizona.
Charlotte’s religious devotion and commitment to the church are exemplified in her participation in the Ladies Auxiliary, service as a Eucharistic minister, and volunteer for Knights of Columbus, Bingo and other numerous related special events, at Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Sun City West, AZ. Charlotte also volunteered tirelessly for the Sun City West Posse.
