Charlotte Mae Fioretto

Charlotte was born in 1932 in Milwaukee, WI. Charlotte met her husband Joseph Fioretto in 1950 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago IL, where they shared the joy of Ballroom dancing and fell in love. Charlotte and Joe married in 1952 and were married for 69 years.

Charlotte loved music, singing, dancing, reading, writing stories, “her Lake” and most of all being with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards and board games and her grandchildren will tell you that she often came up with the best, most unexpected and funny answers and comments during those games! For Charlotte, family was most important.

Charlotte was a life-long member of the Maria SS. Lauretana Society of Altavilla Milicia of Chicago and Arizona.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 69 years, Joseph Fioretto, her 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren:

Daughter Sharon Geraghty (Christopher), Grandson Nicholas Geraghty and Granddaughter Hanna Geraghty

Son Tony Fioretto (Mary Ann) Granddaughter Theresa Nettleton (Brian), Grandson JJ Fioretto (Katelynn), Great Grandchildren Charlotte Lynn Fioretto (named for her Great-Grandma) and Grayson Anthony Fioretto

Daughter JoAnne Betken (Brian), granddaughter Katie Betken (Ryan Cole)

Son Joseph Fioretto (Sabrina), Granddaughter Natalie Benigno (Joe) and Great granddaughter Giuliana Benigno, Granddaughter Audrey Fioretto and Granddaughter Grace Fioretto

Charlotte is also survived by many much-loved Brother and Sister in laws, Nieces and Nephews who were a large part of her life, as well as Beloved Godchildren and many dear extended family members and friends.

She enjoyed being with everyone, for Charlotte it was “Awesome” and “Good to be with you”. She would always tell you “Love ya, Love ya”, and that she would “Love you more”.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her Father Edward, Mother Norah, Sister Helen and Brother Lorin (Buddy)
