Cheryl W Foster

Cheryl Winona Foster was born January 16, 1926 in Carl, Iowa to Reverend Zell Bressler and Alice Pine. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She graduated from Kellerton High School. She married Edward Dean Moore and had 2 children, Carole Dean Jensen and William Edward Moore. When her children were in school, she returned to work as a Bookkeeper at the REA in Albia, Iowa. She continued to work as a bookkeeper retiring in the early '80's. She married Virgil Foster in '68 and moved to Prescott, Arizona in the early '70's. Her years in Arizona were filled with exploring her new state, antiquing (estate sales& garage sales) and on occasional trip to the casino's. The '80's were spent in Sun City enjoying antiquing, jigsaw puzzles, reading and needlework. In 2005 she accompanied her husband to the Inn at the Amethyst in Peoria, Arizona. She passed away February 28, 2012 after a brief illness. She was survived by one sister Razella Nelson of Polk City, Iowa, her son William Moore of Plymouth, Iowa, a daughter Carole Jensen of Glendale, Arizona and stepson Dana Foster of Ankeny, Iowa. She has 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will rest with her husband at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, Arizona. A memorial service will be held in her honor at Sunland Memorial Park Tuesday March 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm with visitation at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held graveside on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City, Arizona.
