Christine Leila Maria Mitchell

Christine Leila Maria Mitchell, died tragically on May 16th, 2014. Her presence will forever be missed by all that knew and loved her. Christine was born in Glendale, AZ, on May 30th, 1990. She would have been 24 years old this year. She was a passionate, creative, outgoing person. She truly lived for the moment and was never afraid to take any risks. She was deeply connected to music - always listening and experiencing a wide variety of artists. She loved movies, reading books, and arts & crafts. She attended grade school at Sahuaro Ranch Elementary and continued her education at Mountain Ridge High School in the Valley. It was at Glendale Community College where Christine energetically pursued her Associate Degree in the Arts. She found a home at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Phoenix where she spent the last several years dedicating herself as a Retail Supervisor. It was the perfect balance for her to connect with people while keeping very close to the music scene. Christine truly touched the lives of the many friends and family members that she had. When she was at her best, she filled our hearts with laughter and joy by her spontaneous humor, wit and willingness to help anyone in need. Christine is survived by her Mother, Francesca, her Father, Howard, older brother, Craig, and Stepfather, Michael. She also leaves behind a grandma, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and a loving boyfriend, Bill. We all wish we could have seen the amazing person she would have undoubtedly become. At her core she was and forever will be a beautiful soul. Funeral services will be held this Saturday, May 24th, 2014 at 2PM at Sunland Memorial Park Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
