Claire A. Olsen, 94, of Peoria, AZ passed away March 8, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Claire was born September 28, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to AZ in 1986 with her husband John from Long Island. Claire was raised in a close-knit family of 6 children. Her greatest love was being ‘G.G.’ and involved in all her great grandchildren’s lives. Claire was known for her meticulous nature when it came to her appearance. She was always entertaining to her family.
Claire is survived by her sister Helen Busam, her children Peter Olsen (Susan) and Judy Hill (Ricky), her grandchildren Johnnie, Cindy (Pat), Tracy (Shawn), Melissa (John), great grandchildren Nicolette, Kate, Danny, Courtney, Lauren, Connor, Emily, Ashlyn, Matthew, and her beloved cat Bell. She is preceded in death by her husband John, 3 sisters and a brother.
Donations may be made in Claire’s memory to the American Heart Association and the Arizona Humane Society.
