Dale W Jenkins

JENKINS, DALE WILLIAM, born in Akron, Ohio, April 9, 1927, went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norine Jenkins,sister-in-law Sarah Anderson, nephew Dean Anderson and niece Donna Fleming, her husband, Jim, and their children Andrew Fleming, Carrie Nemish and her husband, Aaron and little Sarah, along with many cousins.

Dale was a WWII veteran who served in the Navy and, at the end of the war, went back to school and completed his education

with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron. He was a lifelong employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber with 42 years of service and moved to Arizona from Akron in 1969 to work for Goodyear Aerospace. He retired from his position

as manager of government contracts in Goodyear, AZ, in 1989. Dale had a true love for life and people, and enjoyed various sports over the years, golf, fishing, camping and travel, but nothing was more important than the time he spent with family and friends. While we are saying “Goodbye” here, there are so many others who have gone ahead and are waiting to say “Hello” again as you enter into Heaven. Dale, you will be missed by your family and friends and the many people whose lives you have touched. Dale was a longtime member of Grace Bible Church in Sun City, Arizona, and the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Church, 19280 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, AZ , 85373.
