Danny Reid Brown Sr of Sun City, Arizona formerly of Dewey, Arizona, left to be with the Lord on July 18, 2018. Dan was born on December 30, 1951, to Kelly Reid and Clara Elizabeth Brown in Elkin, North Carolina.
At a young age, Dan showed a great talent in fixing anything mechanical and wanting to understand how it worked, which naturally led to a career as an auto mechanic with a flair for all construction trades. Dan was never afraid to try his hand at anything as long as it did not involve heights. Dan served in the United States Army.
Family and friends had a saying about Dan, “No matter where he would go, he would make a friend.” Dan would bend over backwards to help everyone he could. Dan loved to talk to everyone and it never failed that any conversation would include the LORD. Dan was in his element when he could talk with someone about the LORD, and he served as a minister to area retirement homes and hospitals.
Dan loved to travel, and his favorite place to go was Maui. He enjoyed the water and playing in the waves, or just relaxing by the pool.
Dan is leaving behind his loving wife of 39 years, Cindy; and children, Kelli Neal (Larry), Danny Jr., Candice and Anthony; along with eight grandchildren, Dylan, Elizabeth, Caitlyn, Jacob, Alexys, Alyssa, Reid and Hardy, who he loved and cherished. He is also survived by his step-mother, Bev; his sister, Brenda Young; his loving niece, Brandi Vicari (Peter); and nephew, Josh Myers, who he loved very much. Dan also leaves behind many other family members and friends who he cherished and loved, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
