Dennis T. Barber

Dennis “Denny” to family and friends enlisted into the Army Air Force in 1946. Denny served his country proudly both stateside and in Japan. He honorably separated with the WWII Victory Medal and the Occupation Medal of Japan! Denny retired from General Dynamics after many years working in the Aerospace industry. He was a past president of Sun City Country Club and an avid golfer.

Denny is survived by his loving wife Nancy, Children Robin, David, Val and Gail Barber and Ken McClanahan, Linda MacDonald, grandchildren and great Granddaughter. He will be forever loved and missed; we will be keeping you in our hearts. Please join the family at United Church of Sun City for a memorial service located at 11250 N 107th Ave, Sun City Arizona 85351 at 2:00pm January 29, 2011. GRANDPA!

Dennis T. Barber (gramps) was promoted home January 20, 2011. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa. Grandpa served his country proudly in the Army Air Force, he put the 1st ICBM missile into space, loved travel and playing golf.

We are proud to say he was able to know and spend a lot of time with his great granddaughter. He will live on with us always. We love and miss him dearly and look forward to reuniting with him.
