Dolores Karecki was born on May 16, 1927 in Chicago Illinois. She spent her life as a wonderful, loving and compassionate mother and grandmother. She made her life about putting others needs first. She spent her time often volunteering in many different medical facilities and senior living communities around the valley. Dolores cared for people in the most validating and compassionate way she could. Sometimes simply by sitting and listening to others. She would always make others feel heard and important. She saw people and cared for them uniquely. Dolores knew all too well people just needed someone to turn to and she was always present for those in need of an ear to bend.
Dolores loved to dance and sing with her vibrant personality. It’s been said she couldn’t sing well but made it into the choirs anyhow. Dancing joyfully was a hobby she enjoyed often and spent time doing throughout her whole life. She truly was everyone’s favorite person. It was said by her son in law that he had a “custom made” mother in law and he could not have ever asked for a better one. Dolores would see you for who you were and remember you. She would never miss your birthday and you could count on her to remember your anniversary as well.
Dolores lived life well but by no means did she have an easy life. Even so she always made sure to be there in support others. She lived up to the only expectation that truly matters, loving and caring for people. Everyone that knew her will be forever grateful for their time spent with her. Dolores’s memory will always be in the hearts of all who knew her.
