Dylan Robert Laviola passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 23. As the bells of heaven ring, they have welcomed the brightest light imaginable. A heart of gold and a gentle, kind-hearted being will shine brightly upon those of us left to walk this earthly life. He danced his way through life, savoring the moments, and reveling in the present. You could see his loving spirit shine through when he was bent over any animal caressing their head in such a kindhearted warmth that you just knew he was a uniquely special person. His smile warmed the room and many hearts along the way. We will remain forever inspired by his resiliency; and even more impressive, his grace and positivity as he navigated life-altering health issues arising from epilepsy.
Dylan is survived by his mother Stephanie, his stepfather John, his father Dewey and brother Tyler. Dylan was loved dearly by his uncles Mark and Chris, and his aunts Annette, Denise & Lezlie as well as his beloved cousins Carl, Jordan, Marlee, Brianne, Jayden, Kayla, Lilah, Cora, Noah & Jude.
Dylan was exceptionally bright and earned scholarships to both Brophy College Preparatory as well as a full ride scholarship to Arizona State University where he was Majoring in Journalism; following in his beloved grandmothers’ footsteps. Dylan played sports, mainly baseball for years but it wasn’t until he started playing guitar when he discovered his true passion; music. Dylan was working on a Minor in Music at ASU. He was always looking forward to live concerts and music festivals, and after years of exposure to the Grateful Dead, he discovered his own LOVE for the Music. Dylan loved to play the guitar and sing, and now that he is reunited with so many others that have left this earth, I know his songs will fill the air as he is surrounded by infinite love and peace.
