“Al” son of Elmer and Ethel Crawford passed away at his residence in Sun City, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, JoAnn M. and his son Steven M. He is survived by his son Thomas (Shelly), and two granddaughters Stace and Nikky.
Al started work for Consumers Power Company as a Utility Man at the Morrow Plant in 1950, transferred to the Whiting Plan in 1953 as a Basement Operator, and retired at the CP Campbell 1&2 plant as a Shift Supervisor in 1987 after 37 years.
On vacations during Al’s and JoAnn’s careers they loved to travel, visiting all 50 states. Even taking a 23 foot travel trailer to and from Alaska on the AlCan Highway.
In 1990 they moved to Sun City, AZ permanently, where Al enjoyed golfing and JoAnn crafted her beautiful quilts.
