We were privileged to meet Dr. Jones and his wife on one of their many cruises. Never talked about the stock market, but instead his WWII experiences. Sadly we just learned he had passed away. Although it has been a year, please pass our condolences to his wife.

Jones Family,
I have fond memories of Brother LaVar Jones.  As a boy growing up in Billings, I know and respect all the extended Jones family.  Brother LaVar Jones was very kind and thoughtful.   He always showed special interest in my scouting advancements.  Once, he brought coins back from a trip behind the Iron Curtain in eastern Europe - so I would have enough foreign coins for my merit badge.   I remember his kind demeanor and calm voice.   My parents, Avery and Marge, are both gone.  I speak for them and my sisters, Pam Tolley and Debbie Osmond, in offering condolences and our hope in the resurrection afforded us through the Savior.

We are sadden at the death of our dear Uncle LaVar.  He was a wonderful Uncle to Craig after the loss of Craig's father and LaVar's brother Que in 1944 during WWII. They were both pilots.  His love and concern for Craig was unwaivering.  As Laurel came into the family, he  was so accepting and kind.  We will miss him greatly but know he is still watching over us.  May his wife and children find peace in the knowledge that they will see him again.

We are so sad that you have lost the love of your life.  Indeed Levar was a treasure to all of us he held near and dear.
Over the years we have come to admire you and levar  via your unquestioned love,  absolute senseable life management,  determined sense of adventure and realizing the love changes but never ends

We stand with you in raising a prayer that LeVar  now takes his place in the heavens.
