Evelyn Lucille Jensen, age 94, passed away on March 30, 2016. She was born in Graceville, Minnesota on November 20, 1921 and had made Arizona her home almost 30 years. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harvey Jensen, in 2008. She was also preceded by her parents Shorty and Hazel Bergstrom and her sister Marjorie. Evelyn is survived by her 3 children, Linda Nelson (Joe) of Ham Lake, Minnesota, Lynette Scheibler of Stella, North Carolina, and Larry Jensen of Fort Collins, Colorado; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend special thanks to the caregivers at Freedom Plaza for the great care that they provided to Evelyn during her time there. Private services will be held by her family. Arrangements under the direction of Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center, Sun City, AZ.
