Francis O'Shaughnessy, Sgt of the U.S. Marine Corp, age 91, passed away on December 20, 2014. Francis was born in Woodhaven New York City, New York on March 31, 1923. Mr. O'Shaughnessy earned his bachelor's of science degree in Chemical Engineering from Missouri State and a member of Tau Beta Pi.
Francis O'Shaughnessy was a loyal, kind man, residing in Arizona for 23 years. His interest included art, painting, travel and archeology. He will be missed by his wife, Dorothea O'Shaughnessy, son Michael O'Shaughnessy; four grandchildren from Delaware, Emily, Brian, Kevin, and Ana O'Shaughnessy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, December 23 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 North Del Webb Boulevard, Sun City, AZ 85351.
Interment with military honors will be held on Wedesday, December 24 at 1 PM at Sunland Memorial Park Cemetery, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, Arizona 85351.
