Frank was born on April 3, 1933 in New York, NY to Dora Palazzolo and Leoluca “Louie” Comaianni, where he spent his early childhood with his two brothers; Carmen and Salvatore. Later the family moved to Detroit, MI, where Frank attended Denby High School. Frank joined the Army Air Corp serving in the Korean War as a maintenance chief for B-17’s, and received the purple heart. After his service, he married and started his beautiful family of four; daughters Dorina, Antonina, Deana and son Dominic.

He referred to himself as “a jack of all trades and a master of none”, but he truly was a lifelong learner. This was evident in his career, working in a variety of business’ and trades. In retirement, Frank enjoyed many visits with his family, was very involved in the Knights of Columbus and loved playing golf as often as he could.

He met the love of his life, Kathleen O’Connell, whom he married October 18th, 1997. They built a wonderful life together in Sun City, where they enjoyed many home projects, traveling, good food and hosting family gatherings at “Villa Comaianni”.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen of 15 years, daughters Dorina Moceri, Antonina Ancona and her husband Joe, Deana Licata and her husband Aury, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and son Dominic.

A service to celebrate his life will be Thursday, November 1st at 11:00 am, Sunland Mortuary Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, AZ.
