Genevieve T Marchese

Genevieve Trotto Marchese, 97, of Surprise, AZ formerly of Rochester, New York passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family on January 3, 2021. She was born on July 17, 1923. She is predeceased by her cherished Husband, Samuel Marchese. She leaves behind to mourn her children, David (Susan) Marchese and Lynne (Orest) Jejna. Also her grandchildren, Carrie (Brandon) Chambers, Lyndsee (Raul) Cortez, Michael (Brittany) Jejna, Matthew Jejna (Alexis Drickel). Her great grandchildren, Branson and Bennett Chambers. She is also predeceased by her parents, Cosmo and Nellie Trotto, sister Ann Palumbo, brothers Louis (Mildred) Trotto, Cosmo (Dolly) Trotto. She leaves behind her loving brother Frank and sister-in-law Shirley Trotto as well as her brother-in-law Frank Palumbo and several nieces and nephews.

Genevieve had several passions, mostly her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking for them and having Sunday dinners. She and her husband also loved to travel the world. One of their favorite places was going back to Italy to visit relatives and to explore their heritage. She will be missed by her family and those that loved her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
