George Albert Arroyo, Sr., age 76, passed away on July 24, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Lares, Puerto Rio on April 29, 1940, he is a former resident of Peoria, AZ and was a member of the Peoria Church of the Nazarene.
George is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Alicia; daughters Alicia Kinney (Timothy) and Ramona Arroyo-O’Dell (Shane); son George Arroyo, Jr. (Cindy); adopted daughter Jody Cleaves; grandchildren Timothy (Megan), Thomas, Ryan (Miriam), Kera (Dan), Heather, Joshua (Megan), Jeraush, Nicole, Emma, Elizabeth, Jamie (Tony), Christopher (Courtney), and Heather (Albert); and his great grandchildren Lorrenna, Arora, Ava, Giselle, Cole, Izabella, Bryson, Dredyan and Luna.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Sunland Memorial Park Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ. Funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, August, 6, 2016 at 10 am at Peoria Church of the Nazarene, 7717 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ, followed by interment at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, AZ.
