George A Burdick

George Burdick, 81, of Sun City, AZ, affectionately known as Al, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 after a valiant attempt to fight lung cancer and heart problems. George was born in Portland, Oregon on July 19, 1931 and lived in Oregon until he became a “snow -bird” from 1995 thru 2001, when he moved to Sun City as a permanent resident. Al is survived by his wife Juanita, having been married for 30 years. They met in 1982 and were married in Hawaii on March 9, 1983. Al is also survived by a daughter Tamara Burdick and son Randal Burdick of Portland, Oregon. He has five step-children, Kathie (Dennis) Krueger of Tucson, AZ Kenneth Zuleger, Karen (Mike) Riggins, Keith Zuleger and Kimberly (Rich) Rudolph, all of Portland, Oregon. Grandchildren: Eric George, Michelle Landis, Robert Rudolph, Kaitlin Rudolph and Regen Rudolph, Ashley Edgar, Allison Yoder, Alisha Yoder, McKenzie Zuleger and a great- grandson Christopher Yoder. Al is also survived by his beloved brother –in-law Boyd Collier of Hesperia, CA. Al attended University of Portland. He was an Estimator- Project Manager for mechanical engineering contractors. A family memorial service will be held in Portland Oregon at a later date.
