Giuseppe (Joseph) Giovannucci Sr. 87 of Phoenix, Arizona entered into rest April 24, 2016. He was born February 6, 1929 in Pratola Peligna, L’Aquila, Italy to Maria Dominica (Diamante) and Edorado Giovannucci. He was married to Lucia (Pre-deceased February 2016) Vallera for 63 years. He was a crew member of that maintained Connecticut Natural Gas underground distribution system of gas to commercial and residential customers. Later to become crew chief of his division. Thru out his years of life ventured in ownerships of properties that he purchased and sold. After 30 years of service for Connecticut Natural Gas he decided to retire and went into business with his wife Lucia. After 10 years of their business venture they retired to Arizona and to enjoy their golden years.
Giuseppe is survived by his sons and daughter, Edward and Anita (LeClair) Giovannucci, Phoenix, AZ, Joseph Giovannucci Jr., Bristol, CT., Vittoria Giovannucci, Peoria, AZ, Robert Giovannucci, Manchester, CT, Grandsons Nicholas and wife Kristina (Orlando) Giovannucci, AZ, Matthew Giovannucci, AZ, Antonio Giovannucci, CT, Granddaughter Alassandra Giovannucci, CT.
