Harold Lavon McInturf, 89, of Sun City went to be with the Lord January 1, 2015. He was born on April 25, 1925, the eldest son of Homer and Ada McInturf. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Ellen, and their son Jerry (Sue) McInturf and daughter Darlene (Jerry) Gray. He dearly loved his four grandchildren, Kim (Dan) Holloran, Jason (Lisa) McInturf, Kristin Gray and Amy (Steve) Weber, and his 15 great-grandchildren. He is survived by one brother, Ken (JoAnn) McInturf and a sister Janet (Tom) Kruse and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David and John. Harold was a WWII veteran, a retired letter carrier, an avid golfer, a skilled woodworker and a fisherman. But mostly he loved the Lord and his family. Services and visitation are being held at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 6th from 4-7pm. The funeral service will Wed. Jan. 7th at 10am with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.
