Helen Dehelian passed away on March 22, 2024. Helen was 103, born in Akron, Ohio to Hungarian parents. The family moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she grew up, one of five children. Parents were Theresa Navratil and Frank Zelley. She was a very independent woman with lots of determination, feisty, funny, loving. She enjoyed her work as a Secretary in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1983 she moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she joined many senior groups and traveled in her retirement. She loved going to the Casinos, playing the slot machines and winning. Playing cards and bingo were her passions. She is preceded in death by her brothers Frank and Edward Zelley, sisters, Emma Takacs and Irene Balazs. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Moody; granddaughters, Michele A. Esslinger and Holly Lynn Brownstein; great-grandson, Alexander Brownstein.
The committal and celebration of her life will be at Sunland Cemetery on Saturday, April 20th, at 10:30AM.
