Henry J. Schmidt, 91, of Sun City, Arizona passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Schmidt of 67 years; his children Lanai Mills, of Mesa, AZ, Steve (Cathy) Schmidt of Bee Cave, TX, Nancy (Paul) Laipple of Prescott, AZ, and Curtis (Peggy) Schmidt of Peoria, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and his sister Cecelia Hirsch of Dubuque, IA. Henry was preceded in death by his son-in-law Andy Mills. Henry was a loving father, enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved his family very much. Henry served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a proud Veteran.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, Nov. 12th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by funeral service at 10:30 am both at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351. Final resting place will be at Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City, AZ with military Honors.
