Howard Franklin Balch, 78, from Peoria, Arizona passed away on October 30, 2023. Howard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, a decorated military veteran serving in Vietnam, and retired from Glaxo Smith Kline as a pharmaceutical representative after 34 years. God and family were his life. He was an elder and a charter member at Atonement Lutheran Church . Howard’s hobbies were home beer brewing and he had a green thumb for gardening. He also had a lifelong passion for baseball rooting for his Cleveland Indians and his new home team the Arizona Diamondbacks. Howard had a big heart and was well known for his silly pranks.
He will be remembered lovingly by his wife of 52 years, Deborah; his children Angela (David) Kiesgen and Keith (Sandra) Balch, siblings Richard (Virginia) Balch and Elaine Balch, and his grandchildren, Jacob, Aiden, Andrew, Kasey and Zoey.
Howard knew he was going home and was ready to be with God.
Memorial Service will be held on November 18, 2023 at 11:00am Atonement Lutheran Church 4001 W Beardsley Road Glendale AZ 85308.
