Sergeant Vee, I owe you my stripes, brother, you started me on the right foot to become an NCO and, eventually, the SNCO I am today!  It hit me hard hearing of what happened.  The Vehicle Maintenance world (TRANS, when we got in) took a big loss.  I think of you often and miss your guidance, however blunt and brash with colorful words.  We went through a lot together from 2002 in Korea and linking back up in 2005-2006 during convoy duty.  Now, ironically enough, here I sit in Kuwait, just an hour and twenty minute drive from where we stood up the 424th Medium Truck Detachment, the Centurions.  I miss you, Brother, and there really isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you, especially on spagetti nights!  We always tore up that spagetti bar at Osan AB Korea!  I think I say it every time and tell everyone about how we always tore up that spagetti there!  I still have a hard time knowing that you are not in this world with us, but, I will always have the memories we shared together and the stories you told me over our drinks. Dad, I miss you so much right now and I wish that you were still with us. These couple years have been very rough with out you here. Just always remember that you will never be forgotten and you will be always loved!

We had some great times back when we were all stationed together in Guam back in the Mid 1990's. You left this earth way too early, and will always be missed! Thanks for all of the memories! Condolences to all of your family.

You were the very first NCO I ever looked up to.  You knew what the others didn't, you said what the others wouldn't, you did what the others were afraid to do...  You shaped me into the NCO I am today and you were just being yourself.  You weren't trying to impress anyone, but you did.  You made one hell of an impression on me.  I wanted to be like you more than anyone else.  You were awesome!

The Air Force lost one of the best Airmen it has ever had.  I lost a great friend and mentor....

I remember one day at Eglin, I was told "Good God, you're like a mini Vee"  That was the best compliment I think I have ever received!!  I laughed at the time but I remember I was doing back flips on the inside because someone thought I was at your level.  It was a good day.

You're going to be missed by many - me especially.

Rest In Peace brother...  Gone but NEVER forgotten!!  Your legacy of awesomeness will live on through the Airmen you mentored.
