

James Alan Harloff was born in Sparta Wisconsin on September 23, 1947, to Harold Paul Harloff and Crystal Marie (Schroeder) Harloff and had one sister Barbara Karrmann of Platteville, Wisconsin. The family lived in Wisconsin and eventually relocated to Madison, Wisconsin.
James Went to Randall school and West High School in Madison, Wisconsin and he later went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and then the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he would receive his bachelor’s degree.
In 1969 James was drafted into the US Army and there he would serve as a medic assigned to the 25th Infantry Division and served in the Vietnam War. James returned from Vietnam and would later be employed by the US Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin. He worked there as a Pulp and Paper Researcher. After some time, James decided to relocate to Arizona to help care for his parents. He would later call Sun City home and live the remainder of his life here in Sun City, Arizona.
James is survived by his sister Barbara and many friends. He was a man among men and served his country proudly. He will be deeply missed.
