JAMES E MORTON

James (Jim) E. Morton, 89, passed away on 6-11-13 in Sun City AZ. Born in Minneapolis, MN. He resided in Sun City for the past 17 years. Jim was a WWII Marine Veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart for his service in the South Pacific. He retired from Honeywell. Jim was regarded as a great father and friend. He is survived by his devoted friend Beverly Bruce and his daughters Bonnie Roberts (Bill Roberts), Mary Scheffler (Dave Scheffler), Lori Wengler, Rebecca Marx, and sons Steve and Tom Hofius.16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother Margaret Morton, father Edwin Morton and daughter Jacqueline Nelson.
