Jean Agnes Orlinski, born January 1, 1921, passed away on the Feast of the Assumption, August 15, 2017. She is survived by her three children: Pat (John) Always, Bob (Geri) Orlinski, and Rev. Richard Orlinski; three grandchildren Denise (Jim) Devine, Julie (Rick) Hollenstine and Dan (Bevin) Orlinski; Seven great grandchildren Jack, Nick, and Maddie Devine, Emma and Claire Hollenstine, and Cal and Leah Merkowitz; sister-in-law Clara (Chester) Sczesny. Viewing will be held at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City from 4:30 - 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 22. Funeral services will be held at St. Clement of Rome Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351 at 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 23rd.
Jean was married for 72 years to Zygmund Orlinski, served as an Associate to the Pastor of St. Mary's Parish in Griffith, IN for 20 years, made and sold candles to send the profits to extended family in Poland, crocheted hundreds of laprobes given to veterans, Hospice and Wounded warriors for which she was recognized by them, and volunteered services for St. Clement Rummage Room and Women's Guild for many years.
