It is with profound sadness and immeasurable love that we announce the passing of Jensen Alan Uetrecht, who left this world at the age of 31.
Jensen was deeply loved by his family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a curious, creative, and thoughtful soul who approached life with sincerity and intention. Since he was young, Jensen asked meaningful questions, sought understanding, and continually strived to be a good human being. He believed that character mattered, and he lived with compassion, concern and was always searching for answers.
Jensen found joy in both the beauty of the outdoors and the satisfaction of creating with his hands. He loved camping, where he found peace in nature and time to reflect. He was also a talented welder who appreciated the craftsmanship and precision that came with his work. Equally passionate about understanding people, Jensen devoted much of his time to studying the mind, always searching for deeper insight into human nature and the experiences that shape us.
Those who knew Jensen will remember his inquisitive spirit, his creativity, and the depth of his conversations. He had a unique way of looking at the world that encouraged others to pause, think, and appreciate life from a different perspective. Though his years were far too few, the love he gave and the lives he touched will endure.
Jensen’s greatest legacy is the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in every campfire shared beneath the stars, in every project built with care, and in every thoughtful conversation that seeks understanding over judgment. He reminded those around him that becoming a good person is a lifelong journey worth pursuing.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we are forever grateful for the gift of Jensen’s life. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
