John Henry Hannah, age 97, passed away on May 8, 2019. He celebrated his 97th birthday on April 30, 2019 enjoying cake and a multitude of cards from friends and family. Born April 30, 1922 in Adrian, Missouri, John with one sister, Doris, grew up on a farm. He was drafted into the Army Aircorp and served in England through WWII. After his honorable discharge, John returned to Missouri where he met and married Flossie (Betty) Sear. They married on November 27, 1947 and enjoyed 66 years together. Betty passed on Mothers Day 2013. During their lives, passions were church and family.
He started his working life as a service manager for a Ford Dealership in Butler, MO. Soon working with his hands gave way to working with numbers. His life work then became accounting and bookkeeping for a sand and gravel company in Missouri and Safeway stores in Colorado. His hobbies included motorhome travel and air travel with John W's help. All 50 states and several foreign countries were visited. John always said "If the wheels are turning, I am ready to roll".
John is survived by his two sons, John W. and Jim, one daughter in law Annette, 6 grandchildren all married, 13 great grandchildren, 6 nephews, nieces and several extended family members.
