John passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2023. He was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on July 20, 1929. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Catherine, his two children Donna and Thomas, two grandchildren Stefany and Kathryn, and two sisters Pat and Carolyn. John was a veteran of the United States Air Force and moved to Arizona when he retired in 1969. His entertainment passion was ‘the ponies’ and he was a frequent visitor to Turf Paradise and many other horse racing venues. John loved baseball and was an avid golfer in retirement.
