John "Gary" Meyers, 74 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on December 9, 2014, with his son by his side. Gary was born on August 24, 1940 in Leavenworth, KS to the late John J. and Mary C. Meyers. Gary was a service writer for the Maricopa County Mechanical Equipment Department for 30 years, until his retirement. Gary is survived by his loving son, Christopher S. and wife Luba Meyers; three dear grandchildren, Tessa, Breanna and Jacob Meyers. The funeral mass will be at 9:00 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St Mary's Roman Catholic Basilica, 231 N. 3rd. St., Phoenix, AZ 85004.
