Josephine Parisi Mira, 90, was the wife of Dominic Mira who preceded her in death. Jo was a loving mother, a dedicated wife, a wonderful homemaker, and a dear friend. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling to visit her family, watching sports, playing bridge, bowling, and watching soap operas. Family was important to her, as is evidenced by the greeting cards that were never missed throughout her life. In her last years Jo battled the effects of Alzheimer's Disease.
Jo was a graduate of Logansport High School in Logansport, Indiana and of Purdue University, majoring in math education. She practiced her skills educating her children: John F. Mira of Carlisle, PA; Allan J. Mira (Jan) also of Carlisle; Robert P. Mira (Mary Ann) of Prescott Valley, AZ; Donna Lang of Allentown, PA; and niece Gail Majors of Tempe, AZ. Jo is also survived by a sister, Mary Parisi of Logansport, IN; by seven grandchildren, and by four great grandchildren.
