After graduation from High School in 1988, Julie started her career in the mobile phone industry by being the first wholesale trainer on the Nextel phone. She moved on to HR Administration for Professional Employers Organizations, PEO, where she instructed business owners and their employees on employee benefits and payroll. Julie than became office manager for a local business for several years until she became a full-time mom and business partner of a family-owned business.
In September of 2000, Julie met John Sours and dated for 2 years until they got married on September 7th, 2002. Julie went on to have 2 boys, John Harrison & Connor William. Julie was self-titled as “BOY MOM’.
Julie loved to fish. It didn’t matter where, a stream, lake or the ocean. She just wanted to fish. Camping was the same way. It could be near a lake, in the mountains or on the ocean. Julie also loved her flower garden and was getting a green thumb in growing all kinds of plants. Entertaining was her thing to do. Cooking and playing games were important to her. Above all Julie loved being around family and friends to share her heart and soul to make beautiful memories with you.
A celebration of her life will be on Monday, March 7th, at 11AM at Christ Church of the Valley in Surprise.
