Kathleen Ann duPont

Kathleen Ann duPont passed away April 6, 2012 in Glendale, AZ. Kathleen was born March 9, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI. She leaves behind her husband of almost 30 years, Kenneth duPont. Her two children, daughter Dena (Bob) Howry and son Michael (Kari) Felicki; and her 3 wonderful grandkids who will miss her greatly. Her granddaughter Kalyn Howry -“I guess it’s kind of selfish to wish she was still on earth (even though we all do) because she is better than she ever been right now” Kathleen retired of Maricopa County Probation office and she will be missed by many. She was a sweet and loving soul. Her smile was warm and comforting and brightened a room.

She was always so sweet to me and made me feel like part of your family.

I’ve known Kathy since I was 14 years old - three-quarters of my life. And I’ve never referred to her as “Kathy” before... only as “mom.” At first I called her mom out of respect, but later because that’s what she was to me... a second mom. From day one she treated me like I was part of the family, and never made me feel otherwise. When I would come over, she would always say, “Hey Kenny, look what the cat dragged in” or “look who’s here”, and I would always stop and chat with her for a few before going to Dena’s room, or the pool to layout. I’ll miss those chats... and I’ll miss her...
