Our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Kay Adair Cliff Otterson (84) of Sun City, Arizona, was taken to heaven on September 23, 2020, after a long illness. Kay was born to Elizabeth and James Andrew Cliff on March 12, 1936, in Williamson/Rochester, New York. Kay was raised in a loving home with her two sisters. In school, her sister Patricia would take on anyone who bothered or tormented her sisters at recess or after school.
From an early age, Kay had an innate desire to be a loving mother. While raising three boys, she attended college at Phoenix Business College where she excelled greatly. She was in the Sigma Beta Phi sorority and was awarded the Woman of the Year. Kay dedicated her time and efforts to her children, working several careers to provide for her family. She found her niche as an Office Manager, where she worked until retirement. Throughout her years, Kay mostly enjoyed her time as a mother to her three sons whom she always taught to respect and appreciate life.
Kay had so much love to give. After her boys left home, she continued to adopt and love many animals. Her compassion, devotion, and nurturing nature was unconditional and an excellent example of strength and beauty to all. Her trials were always overcome by her love and faith in Christ. Her infectious laugh that could be heard through good times and bad will always be remembered and dearly missed.
