Kenneth was born on September 26, 1935, to Gregor and Elizabeth (Woeste) Voit in Greenwald, Minnesota. He married Louise Keckhafer in 1957, and they shared 16 years together until her passing in 1973. In 1989 he married Carol Rozeski, and the two spent 32 wonderful years together until her passing in 2021.
Kenneth graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1960 and spent most of his career sharing his love of mathematics at Technical High School in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He retired as the school’s Math Department Head, a role he deeply valued. During his leadership, he transitioned the department to Saxon Mathematics, which contributed to significant improvements in student test scores. After retiring from teaching, Kenneth continued his work with Saxon, assisting the company in expanding its reach. The program’s creator even visited him personally to acknowledge the remarkable results he achieved with his students.
In 2005, Kenneth and Carol moved to Arizona, where they enjoyed their retirement years. In 2016, Kenneth bravely beat cancer, an experience that sparked a deep interest in holistic medicine. He continued to study and explore it for the rest of his life. Outside the classroom, Kenneth enjoyed simple pleasures—playing cards and pool, fishing, and tinkering in the garage with one project or another. He was happiest with a toolbox nearby, a card game in front of him, or a fishing pole in hand.
Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His kindness, curiosity, and quiet strength will be deeply missed. Kenneth was predeceased by his beloved wives Louise Keckhafer (1973) and Carol Rozeski (2021). Also, by his parents Gregor and Elizabeth, brother Chris Voit, sisters Lucille Bertram and Lorraine Linn-Sauer. In addition, grandson Jason Weber (1988). He is survived by his children Curtis Voit, Robert Voit (Laura), Deborah Baker, Kim Voit, Julie Borunda (Ricardo), Peter Gale (Amy), 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Donations can be sent to St. Vincent de Paul, Phoenix, AZ

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to AZ Royal Care for the kindness, dignity, and comfort they provided to Ken at the end of his life.
