Mr. Watras was someone full of knowledge, and he lived to share that knowledge with those around him. He inspired us to travel and learn so that we too could be full of knowledge and share it with those around us. My heart goes out to his family during this time of trial. May God give you all the strength you need during this difficult time.

Hi my name is Graciella Castillo. Mr Watras was my history teacher this semester at PVCC. Out of all my college classes he was the second teacher who inspired me to come to class and learn. Signing up for history this semester I was dreading it. I had never been interested in history and I just wanted to get the class over with. Mr Watras LOVED teaching. He had great passion to getting us going and learning and wanting to learn more and more. I never got the chance to tell him how amazing he was as a teacher and teaching his material. Every week I tried to have the guts to tell him how amazing he was but decided I would on the last day of class. Sadly I never got the chance to do so. He was so passionate about teaching and well organized I can't even imagine what an amazing father, husband, grandfather, brother, he was to all of you. My prayers go to you and your family. Mr. Watras was an amazing teacher <3
