Mr. Morrical was my first Scoutmaster.  We lost touch after he left for Arizona. I was still a pretty young scout at the time. Today I wonder a little what it might have been like to know him as a teenage senior scout, or even into adulthood as I remained active on summer camp staff. 

He took me on my first high adventure trek in Boundary Waters. I later went on to work as a high adventure guide. He taught me that you teach things to others by having them do it themselves. Whether it's paddling a canoe, starting a campfire, or anything else we come across in life. 

Scouting is a brotherhood where we never stop learning, and we never stop teaching. Scoutmasters and mentors are behind every tree and their voices forever on the wind. We make bonds of friendship that last a lifetime. We close our courts with the words, "May the great master of all scouts be with us, until we meet again". Every time I've heard those words, my scoutmaster Mr. Morrical was with me. One day, we'll meet again and perhaps I can tell him all about it.

Kentz, Jennifer, Michelle and Larry, Mike and I send you all tons of love, hugs and prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏  We loved and thought a lot of your Dad. We always loved getting his letter at Christmas. It was full of his golf stories and how good he was playing well into his 90's. He would always talk about each of you kids and grandkids and how well all of you were doing. He was very proud of all of his family. He will be missed. RIP Uncle Kentz ❤️🙏

It was a fun laugh back then, we crossed into Canada for a minute, while canoeing the boundary waters

Looking back, there was no gift or thank you that I (we) could have given him for everything he gave us.

He was my leader, and I was SO fortunate to have him in my life!

This was our first main campout with Mr. Morrical. I call it the beginning because this trip would set me (and others) on a path to Eagle Scout. Which is incredible... auto-correct even knows it's important enough to be capitalized :)

Mr. Morrical took us places that we wouldn't have experienced without him. This was the Warren Dunes (MI) January for our winter campout. I still talk about this trip (I just told friends a week ago about this trip).

I never had the opportunity to meet your father but he sounds like a very loving person. From one veteran to another rest in piece my friend
