Kristina Leigh Davidson-Decknick

January 7, 1983February 16, 2021

Kristina Leigh Davidson-Decknick left this world for Heaven on February 16, 2021 at the age of 38. She was born on January 7, 1983 in Pampa, Texas to Terry & Belinda (Watkins) Davidson. Shortly after her birth, her family relocated to Arizona where she would spend the remainder of her life. Kristina graduated from Apollo High School where she would be introduced to her life’s work as a beautician. Shortly after graduating High School, Kristina started her own salon and built it up over the years to a beautiful and well sought out day spa named Beauty Kouture.

Kristina fell in love and married her soul mate, Justin Decknick, in November of 2015 which solidified their family unit to include Matthew Davidson (13), Justin Davidson (11), and Audree Belle (3) all of whom she has left behind. Matthew and Justin were special young men to Kristina, of which she happily chose to be called Mom. Audree Belle, an exact replica of Kristina, was her dream come true of raising a little girl whom she could share a lot of her passions with.

Kristina was an avid Disney fan and a lot of her life’s moments included Disney themed additions. She was very detail oriented and nothing was ever left unaccounted for, most specifically the feelings of those around her. She dedicated her life and time to all those family and friends around her; never having used her time for herself. This heart of gold will be truly missed.

Her memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10am at Sunland Memorial Park Mortuary Lakeside Garden.

***It is requested that for all who would like to show support, to send all donations to Jacque Dearing. Jacque is the family florist who envisions a flower filled service whose beauty is only eclipsed by Kristina. Jacque can be reached at Jac@twwevents.com and your contribution will provide a unique flower towards the services.***

I've come to realize that nothing prepares us in life for losing someone we care about-NOTHING. I have also come to realize that when someone you love dies,it changes your life forever. It is not something you can "get over", the loss becomes part of who you are. They say that "everything happens for a reason" or that "in time you will heal", but neither time or reason will change the way I feel. This is the kind of heartache that I can feel in my bones. If I had a second chance to let you know how I feel, Id say that Im so proud to have you as my sister. Id thank you for all that you have done to make a difference in all of our lives.I will see you when the road decides its time for our paths to cross again.I love you so very much & I miss you so very, very much!!!
My Love Always,

One thing Kristina and I share was our love for our pets. Some of my appointments we would talk the whole time of our crazy pet stories. When my Bella got sick Kristina suggested her vet. I made an appointment and the day of my appointment she called them made sure I saw her favorite veterinarian. She checked on Bella every day until she got better!! I will miss all our talks, stories and laughs!! ♥️🦋

We are lucky enough to have been in your presence and how wonderful it was! You are such a kind and caring person. The most beautiful wife and inspiring mother! We are sad we will not get to meet you in Disney one day but know you will be with us in spirit. We will think of you and smile! ☺️

I personally will always cherish my trips over and how welcoming you were. 💓
We love our memories of the pool day, Christmas together and some mean meat smoking!!!

I'm sorry we are not there to share your amazing farewell but we will be thinking of you and your spirit from over here in the UK!

Although I never met Kristina in person I knew her well through Justin, my grandson. I wish we could have met but I was never able to make it to Arizona, but I have all the pictures Justin sent me and through Justin's chats I knew you as a beautiful, compassionate and kind woman. Thank you for making Justin a very happy man.
So I just say RIP Kristina and some day we will meet.

It seems like it was yesterday meeting Kristina our first day of beauty school. She was 19 years old and I remember thinking she is so beautiful! Little did I know she would turn out to be such a dear friend to me. Kristina always made me feel like I was such a special person. The day she asked me to be beside her as a bridesmaid for her special day was amazing. The time and energy and love she put into our invite was so thoughtful! I will cherish this letter she wrote me for the rest of my life ! Heaven is rejoicing right now having her there. I am still in disbelief that she is not here with us anymore but hopeful and grateful I will see her again one day. I will continue to pray for Justin and her sweet babies every time I think of her ! I’m so thankful I have years of beautiful memories of her and I thank God I was blessed to have had the gift of her as a friend in my life.

Kristina made me feel beautiful and special. Kristina went out of her way to make sure those around her felt special and important. I am unable to wrap my mind around her not being on this earth. I will miss her sorely. She loved her family deeply and spoke of you often. May God guide you all through this difficult time. Happy Heaven Day Kristina. You will be missed. 💝💝💝
