Laurene D. Brown, age 62, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at her home in Phoenix, AZ. She was born June 29, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN to Bjarne and Pearl Lee. She was a 1974 graduate of Fridley Senior High School and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. She married the love of her life, Rodney Brown, on June 10, 2006 in San Diego, CA. Laurene truly lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and the congregation of her church, she loved to serve the Lord through fellowship and song. She is survived by her husband, Rodney; a brother, Wayne Lee; a sister Chandra Stevenson; and a niece and nephews.
Funeral services will begin on Thursday November 15, 2018 with a visitation at 9:30 am and a service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351. Burial will follow at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 16, 2018 at 11:00 at His House I.C.C., 2904 MacDonald St., Oceanside, CA 92054.
