Leonard P. Bender, 89, of Sun City West, AZ, passed away on May 23, 2013 in Surprise, AZ. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. Leonard was a Biomedical Engineer. He and his wife retired to Arizona in 1994.
Leonard is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Grace Bender; step-children, Robert Hoffman and his wife, Peggy and Fred Hoffman and his wife, Kathy, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
