Lois Jean Kottke, age 96, of Sun City West, Arizona passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Lois Jean Kottke (Teigen) was born on January 21st, 1929 in Appleton, Minnesota to Hans and Helen (Paul) Teigen. Lois went on to become employed at Prudential Insurance Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she worked many year. Lois was married the love of her life Willard Kottke on February 8, 1963 in Flint, Michigan. She also would help raise and care for Willards young son Randy and the three became a family. Lois Loved her family and her friends completely and always made time for anyone in need. Lois loved to spend time with her husband and son and even though having a dedicated professional life, she always made time for her family and her friends.

Lois attended and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Bemidji State university in Bemidji, Minnesota. Lois later taught elementary school in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. Eventually Willard and Lois decided to move to Arizona where Lois persued a successful career as a real estate agent. Willard and Lois would remain happily married until Willard's passing. Lois was a great friend and a compassionate person who cared deeply for others.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Willard Kottke and her parents Hans and Helen Teigen.

Lois is survived by her sisters Arlene Brick and Kathryn Logan as well as her step son Randy Kottke. Lois is also remembered by many nieces and nephews and her very best friend Kaye Nossem.

Lois was a deeply loved person and she will be equally missed.
