After 93 years of living a caring and adventurous life, “Weeze” passed away on Feb. 4, 2013. Born to Philaberto & Anna Baffert on Dec. 26, 1919. She received her education at St. Joseph Carondolet Academy and the Univ. of AZ. In 1940 she met and wed William King. She and Bill raised three daughters in Tucson and on their ranch. Louise worked part time for the Fed Bureau of Census for 25 yr. She traveled the world and also had time to be involved with the Tucson Cowbelles, Newman Ctr. Sustaining Brd, Tucson Symphony Women's Assoc. & AZ Lung Assoc. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, & her daughter, Margaret Jo King Hughes. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Cravens (David) & Joyce Van Deren (Michael Alldredge), four grand children & three great-grand children. A prayer service will be on Fri. Mar. 8th, 7:00 pm @ St Thomas More Chapel (UA Newman Ctr), 1615 E. 2nd St. Tucson, AZ 85719 and Mass Sat. Mar. 9th, 10:00 AM @ St. Thomas More Chapel (UA Newman Ctr.). Burial immediately after.
