Lula Mae Davis

On Wed. January 11, 2012, Lula went to be with her husband Calvin in heaven. She is survived by 3 daughters- Glenda (Mike) Gilbert, Melodie (Donald) Bernaugh, and Marsha Bowman, and her son William. She has 15 grandchildren Angela, Michael Dale, Christa, Billy, Johnny, Bonnie, Becky, Shane, Delicia, Eliana, Brandon, Breanna, Robbie, Jesse, and Jayden. She has 6 great-grandchildren Dustin, Tyler, Destany, Hayden, Elexia, Kara, and Brayden. She has extended family in Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. She is survived by sister Mabel and brothers Clay, Carl, and Mike. She was met in heaven by her loving husband, Calvin, her parents- App and Mabel Jones, her sisters Ette, Tom, Rea, Lizzie, and her brothers Bud and John.

She was a very special woman and could do any job she was asked to do. She worked as a cashier and also owned her own pizza place across from Glendale High School in the early 70’s.

She was a special mother and was always there for her children. She loved her grandchildren and great grand-children with all her heart and they all loved her.

She was born in Virginia and lived in Ohio until relocating to Arizona in 1971.

She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
